Our counselling practice weaves together three elements: research-based clinical care, partnership with the Holy Spirit, and meaningful connection. This forms the foundation of our work, as we walk alongside you on your journey toward wholeness and healing.
Research-Based Clinical Care
We believe in the importance of research-based, clinical best-practice and understanding how God has designed us.
Our mind, body, spirit and relationships are interwoven and interconnected. Our present-day emotions, thoughts, behaviours, and relationships are all impacted by our past environments and relationships. These experiences lay the blueprint in our nervous system for how we experience our present life and relationships.
The therapeutic approaches we draw on integrate emergent research on neuroscience and trauma in a way that is easily accessible and holistic. They also give us a way to explore how the past may show up in our present-moment experiences and offer a practical way for us to reorganize these patterns.
Partnering with the Holy Spirit
We believe that Jesus is the foundation of all healing, and we partner with you and the Holy Spirit in discerning God’s leading in your unique journey.
The Holy Spirit brings healing and restoration wherever He is invited. We believe the Spirit speaks and that we are designed to hear His voice.
In counselling, we give space to partner with the Holy Spirit if you choose, and space for you to listen and discern His voice. We also are listening to the Spirit through the process of counselling.
Created for Connection
We believe that we were never meant to live life alone. Healing and fulfillment naturally arise when we are embedded in a healthy community and have intimacy with God.
In a supportive, attuned counselling relationship, we give space to explore our relationships with people, ourselves, and God.
